According to the U.S. Census, there are 275 cities and 1,123 towns in the state of Michigan. With so many places to list, it’s obvious that there are going to be some funny ones.
The funniest place names in Michigan
Of course, not every name is funny. Take Lansing or Detroit, for example, there is nothing particularly funny or “offensive” about them. However, some place names in Michigan make me wonder what was going through the mind of the person or people who gave them the name.
