“Frasier Reboot” brings back another former graduate of the original series for season 2

The upcoming second season of Frasier The reboot is expected to feature another reunion of the original series, as the updated sitcom adds another original cast member. In the Paramount reboot, Frasier Crane reunites with his agent from the show’s first season.




Per variety, the Frasier reboot confirmed two new additions to the cast of the second season, one of them is Harriet Sansom Harris. Harris portrayed Frasier’s agent Bebe Glazer in the original Frasier series and will play a guest role in the upcoming season of the revival. Meanwhile, Golden Globe-winning actress Rachel Bloom, known for her leading role in Crazy ex-girlfriend And Juliewill play Bebe’s daughter Phoebe.

In Kelsey Grammer’s “Frasier” reboot, two familiar faces from the original sitcom return as the cast for season two takes shape.


In the reboot, the returning Bebe is described as “delightfully devilish” and “one of the series’ most iconic characters.” The reboot also reveals that Bebe is “known for her dramatic flair and brazen Machiavellian maneuvers. Bebe will stop at nothing to get what she wants.” Meanwhile, Phoebe has “inherited her mother’s irrepressible charm” and “possesses a magnetic personality and an appreciation for the finer things.”


Several “Frasier” stars return for the new series

Harris joins former original series alums Dan Butler and Edward Hibbert in Season 2, with Butler and Hibbert reprising their respective roles as Frasier’s former KACL colleagues Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe and Gil Chesterton. The upcoming season will also see Peri Gilpin return in a recurring role as Frasier’s friend and former colleague Roz Doyle, after making a guest appearance in Season 1. Harris appeared in 11 episodes during the original series’ 11-year run. The Tony Award-winning star is also known for his role as Felicia Tilman in Desperate Housewives and most recently in the Starz satirical comedy, Shining Valley. She also has major film roles in Memory, American and the shelved Disney film, Magazine Dreams.

Season 2 of the Frasier reboot continues the “third act” of the eponymous radio psychiatrist and talk show host turned professor while returning to Boston, home of Bottom upGrammer recently signaled his intention to Bottom up Co-stars of the reboot include Shelley Long and Ted Danson. Nicholas Lyndhurst, Jack Cutmore-Scott, Anders Keith and Jess Salgueiro also return in season 2.

No release window has been announced for Season 2 of the Frasier revival. Fans can stream all episodes of the first season via Paramount+.
