Willie Nelson fans are concerned after the singer cancels another concert due to illness

Fans of Willie Nelson are stressed. The country legend has recently been absent due to an unknown illness and fans are worried about Nelson’s health. The Red-Headed Stranger canceled some of his performances over the weekend. Well, this week he’s still not feeling well.

His team announced that he would not be performing in Virginia Beach as planned. Over the weekend, his son Lukas stepped in for him and played several of his best-known hits. In view of the many cancellations, some fans are furious and fear for Nelson’s well-being.

“I don’t know how many more of these posts I can take, I panic every time,” one person wrote. Another wrote, “These posts keep making my heart sink oh my god.” Another wrote, “These posts are stressing me out.” And yet another wrote, “Please just tell us what’s wrong with the old boy.”

Other fans wished Nelson well on social media and hoped he recovers. One wrote, “We know you so well Willie! We can’t wait for you to make a full recovery! We are patiently waiting for you. Get well! We love you!” Another wrote, “I just put on my favorite Willie shirt and that bandana that came right off his forehead that he threw at me? We LOVE YOU WILLIE! Stay strong and recover!”

Another wrote: “Please take care of yourself dear Willie!!!” At least one fan fears the worst: “I know your time will come one day, but please not now. Listening to your music has helped me in difficult moments.”

Previously, Nelson and his team had stated that Nelson needed rest and recovery. They wrote: “We regret to inform you that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and has been advised by doctor’s orders to rest for the next four days. He is expected to make a quick recovery and will be able to participate in the Outlaw Music Festival tour next week.”

They continued: “In the meantime, Lukas Nelson and the Family Band will play a special set of Willie’s classics and other songs along with some guests. Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss and Celisse will still perform as planned.”
