How you can support the Elliott family after the tragic death of their son Ricky

How you can support the Elliott family after the tragic death of their son Ricky

Elliott died last week after a swimming accident

By Justine Tallman

It is with deep sadness that I appeal to the people of Belfast to mobilise support for the Elliott family as they mourn the loss of their son Ricky following the tragic accident on the river. At times like these, it is so important that we come together to support one another when life presents us with an unimaginable situation.

If you would like to help the Elliott family deal with their children’s grief and their own grief following the loss of their son and make arrangements that will allow them to focus on their usual responsibilities, please let me know. I will be collecting cash/gift card donations, providing dinner registrations, and assisting with outreach to the family to inform the community of how we can continue to support them during this time of loss. You can contact me, Justine Tallman ([email protected]), or drop off donations at the Belfast Central School main office for pickup. I will make sure the Elliotts know we are all here to support them today and in the future. We will also be setting up donation jars throughout the area for cash donations.

If you would like to sign up to prepare a meal or purchase food/snacks to help reduce the stress of daily meal prep, please sign up for the meal train. For donations to benefit the Elliotts, we have set up a tab where you can donate and find more information right on the website. http://nkxumc.com If you have any questions about the donations, you can reach Justine Tallman ([email protected]). – with Rick Elliott.
