“The American Negro: Disrupt, Misdirect, and Discredit,” a new book by Blackbelt Marengo Writings LLC, has been published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

The American Negro: Disrupt, Misdirect, and Discredit examines the fact that although three groups were present at the founding of the United States – Native Americans, ethnic Europeans, and Blacks – there is no narrative about the uniqueness of the Black experience as it concerns that group’s contribution to the realization of the American experiment.

Furthermore, there is no reverence for the extraordinary, unique burdens that the Negro had to bear when they were imposed among those who felt liberated from them. The author of The American Negro attempts to discuss the reality of the trauma that led to the destruction of the Negro community. It is the author’s attempt to provide insight into the transition from slavery to re-enslavement and marginalization.

The American Negro: Disrupt, Misdirect, and Discredit is a 152-page paperback with a retail price of $16.00 (eBook $11.00). The ISBN is 979-8-88925-150-7. It was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
