Joseph M. Flansburg is from Hornell, New York. He has worked primarily in customer service and retail, and also did some work with the regional Young Republicans in the early 2000s. Joseph is a practicing Catholic and has worked with REC (Residents Encounter Christ), a volunteer prison ministry, which was an eye-opening time in his life.

Joseph’s hobbies include photography, slapstick, hiking and writing. He also enjoys spending time with his siblings: two brothers and three sisters.
