A Michigan man followed his father’s simple advice and his life improved dramatically.

A 38-year-old man from Wayne County, Michigan, won the Michigan Lottery’s record-breaking $7.19 million Lotto 47 jackpot by following his father’s advice.

The anonymous winner played Lotto 47 for years and often changed his numbers.

However, his father had advised him to choose a series of numbers and stick with it.

The anonymous man listened to his father’s advice and played the same numbers online for several years.

Recently, those numbers – 22-24-26-40-41-44 – turned out to be the winning combination that secured him the largest prize he had ever claimed on the Michigan Lottery website.

The winner initially thought he had won a smaller prize when he received an email notification from the lottery.

But when he logged into his account, he was stunned to see that there was a jackpot of $7.19 million pending.

What will he do with his winnings?

If you win the lottery, in most cases you have two options

You can receive the money in a one-time lump sum payment or in the form of annuity payments. The man opted for a one-time lump sum payment of approximately $4.9 million.

He plans to invest his winnings and contribute to his children’s college fund.

I wonder if the lottery winner will give some of the money to his father, since his advice played a big part in his winnings.
