Chris Witaske highlighted the profound impact The bear The series had a great impact not only on the fans but also on the actors.

In conversation with People Magazine During the premiere of the third season of the comedy-drama series in Los Angeles, the actor, who plays Pete in the Hulu series, recalled an encounter with a fan.

“I was at a concert in Chicago and the guy came up to me and talked about the scene I have with Jamie Lee Curtis in the last episode of the second season,” he said.

“And as he was talking, he became emotional,” Witaske continued. “He burst into tears because it really touched him.”

“And there I was, hugging this stranger at a concert. It was a cool moment,” he described.

He also reflected on the emotional toll the show had taken on him, recalling that the episode “Fishes” was sometimes overwhelming for him.

“It was crazy, man. Even between takes I was thinking, ‘This is too much,'” said the 41-year-old American actor.

“It was too much, man. It was. And some of these people are more method actors than I am,” he continued. “I’m a Chicago comedy guy, and when people stay in character between takes, it’s intense.”

“It’s a lot. That night I needed to relax and meditate,” Witaske added.

The bear Season three premiered on Wednesday, June 26th.
