Ariana Grande shares sweet childhood video to celebrate her 31st birthday

Evil Co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Reese Witherspoon also congratulated the singer on her birthday on Instagram

Ariana Grande turned 31 on Wednesday and to celebrate the moment she shared a nostalgic video from her childhood.

In the clip of the singer-songwriter as a young girl, shared on Instagram, Grande can be seen happily singing and dancing while someone off-screen asks: “Why aren’t you singing Celine Dion?” The video was simply captioned with an emoji bubble, alluding to Grande’s character Glinda in Evil.

In the comments, Grande’s co-star Cynthia Erivo wrote, “Happy birthday my sweet sister,” and actress Reese Witherspoon posted, “Oh yeeeeeessss! Please never lose that energy!”

The Forget it!Frankie Grande, the brother of “A Star” also commented: “A star was born!!”

Earlier this month, Grande released a remix of “The Boy Is Mine” – a collaboration with R&B heavyweights Brandy and Monica, 26 years after they released the original hit of the same name in 1998.

Grande had previously announced the remix on social media, writing, “I ……… can’t believe this is real (I don’t know if I will long after it’s released).” The “7 Rings” singer also thanked the two greats, “not only for being with me in this moment, but for their generosity, their kindness, and for the countless ways they have inspired me.”

The artist released her seventh album, Forget it!in March. The LP debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 – Grande’s sixth album to top the charts.
