Chris Pine is curious what it would be like to play an older Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek 4. The long-delayed fourth JJ Abrams-produced Star Trek The film is reportedly still in development, with screenwriter Steve Yockey attempting to write a new adventure about the Starship Enterprise. Pine, along with his co-stars Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban and Zoe Saldana all expressed their willingness to reunite for Star Trek 4 when the film is actually shot.


PopVerse reports that Chris Pine spoke at the ACE Superhero Comic Con 2024 about playing an older Captain Kirk along with his USS Enterprise crew in Star Trek 4. Pine knows little about what form the next Star Trek The film is in, but he reiterated how much he enjoys working with his fellow actors, and Chris wondered what it would be like to play Captain Kirk when he was over 40Read Pine’s quote below:

As for the next phase of (Star Trek), of course you’re all fans, so I’m sure you’ve read it… We all like each other very much. I’m good friends with everyone I’ve worked with. We have a lot of fun doing it. I’m a lot older now, so I’m curious to see where the next story takes us, what it’s going to be, and what we’ve said in the press.
