Love Island fans speculate about the ‘real reason’ Harriett got back together with Ronnie

Love Island fans don’t miss a thing these days, and many viewers believe they have ‘uncovered’ the real reason why islander Harriett Blackmore chose to be in a relationship with Ronnie Vint.

Although Ronnie, 27, seemed to be on good terms with Jess White just moments ago, it’s no secret that he’s been open to a few chats here and there with other girls in the villa. When Jess, 25, gave him an ultimatum, it led to Ronnie being reunited with Harriett on Monday night’s episode (June 24).

But according to fans on social media site Reddit, the 24-year-old dancer’s intentions are not sincere and everything may not be as it seems on the ITV2 dating show.

One viewer wrote: “I think she’s a total player. She obviously wants to stay in there as long as possible and she’s better off with someone (even if it’s Ronnie) than being alone.”

Another comment read: “You all know that in this game, if you don’t have options, you risk getting kicked out. So sometimes you have to take what’s in front of you and wait until hopefully someone better comes along later.”

Viewers also shared the same idea on X (formerly known as Twitter), suggesting that Ronnie and Harriett could use each other to stay in the villa for as long as possible.

One viewer noted: “Harriet isn’t saying she doesn’t even like Ronnie, my girl just wants to stay in the villa. Ronnie has no personality and Harriet is desperate for love on Instagram after the show,” wrote a second fan.

A third user commented: “Ronnie is still not trustworthy! He is playing it cool with Harriett to stay in the game until Casa Amor or another sex bomb comes to the villa.”

Meanwhile, a fourth fan said: “Ronnie will stay with Harriet if the public is watching him. When they are at the bottom his eyes will start to wonder.”

The couple Harriett and Ronnie are not the only ones causing a stir in the villa, as newcomer Konnor Ewudzi Also decided to get back together with Grace Jackson, despite her close relationship with his former flame Joey Essex. Konnor hasn’t played it safe since arriving on the island, choosing taken islanders Mimii, Grace and Nicole to go on dates with him.
