Cuban candidate on “The Voice Kids” surprises with salsa interpretation of the song by Polo Montañez

Daniela RiveronThe Cuban teenager, who made it to the semi-finals of The Voice Kids in Spain, showed her roots on Tuesday by performing a salsa version of the famous song “Flor Pálida” by Polo shirt Montañez.

“I want to share a bit of my version with you, singing ‘Flor Pálida’, in the style of Marc Anthonywhose author was Polo Montañez,” said the Cuban resident of Gran Canaria, Spainon Instagram. During her time on the show, she has performed various genres of music.

“Salsa is in my blood and I would be delighted if you would hear me in another genre. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do,” emphasises the young singer, who has stood out from the crowd of participants since the blind auditions with her deep, full voice.

On her Instagram, Riverón has published several videos in which she sings international songs of various genres. Recently, the teenager wowed audiences with the song “Basta ya” by the composer Marco Antonio Soliswhich became popular worldwide through Olga Tañon.

“This is a song that I really like,” confessed the young Riverón on Instagram, while she can be seen singing with the same confidence and emotion.

In recent days, the young singer has also revealed her love for rancheras. “Today I dared to return to the mariachi genre that I love so much,” wrote the 14-year-old on Instagram, where she shared a video of herself singing the song “Si nos dejan” by the composer José Alfredo Jiménez.
