Onehouse receives million in second round of financing

A housea Sunnyvale, California-based universal data lakehouse company, has raised $35 million in its second round of funding.

The round, which brought the total raised to $68 million, was led by Craft Ventures, with existing investors Addition and Greylock Partners also participating.

Led by CEO and Founder Vinoth Chandar, Onehouse deploys the data lakehouse in minutes as a fully managed, cloud-based service and provides enterprises with solutions to efficiently manage their own data lakehouses. Since launching the Universal Data Lakehouse platform last year, the company has forged key partnerships with industry leaders such as Amazon Web Services and Confluent.

With this funding, Onehouse is launching two new products designed to increase Lakehouse performance and dramatically reduce cloud storage and processing costs. The two new solutions are:

  • Detached house with lake view: A free cloud service that provides monitoring and insights to help data engineers manage and operate data lakehouse tables.
  • Onehouse table optimizer: A managed cloud service that optimizes existing tables to accelerate data ingestion and ETL for up-to-date data.
