Koe Wetzel has a George Strait song tattooed on his butt

I do not see the problem.

Naturally Koe Wetzel is not the only one who has drunk tattoos that he regrets. It happens to the best of us, and even guys who are covered in tattoos like Jelly Roll have admitted that they have some (or all) of the things they wish they hadn’t gotten.

Koe recently gave CMT a tattoo tour, showing off some of the tattoos he’s collected over the years, and some of them are… pretty interesting.

He has a tattoo of John Wayne with KISS makeup because he’s “not a really big KISS fan” but “thought John Wayne with KISS makeup would be pretty cool.”

Sounds good.

Another one on his arm simply says “Slow, fast” and the story behind it is pretty good:

“We were in Destin, Florida, partying one night and this guy came up to me and said, ‘Hey man, I’m a huge fan, I want to tattoo you.’ And I said, ‘Fine.’ But he had a couple of good-looking girls with him, so I thought, ‘Sure.’

He gets out his kit and starts tattooing. I said I want “Slow Women and Fast Horses.” After he finished “Slow,” I said, “Dude, you don’t have much room to work with. It’s a little late, so let’s just put “Fast” right under it.”

This is one of those nights where I wish I hadn’t drunk so much whiskey.”

I feel like a lot of people have tattoos that they got after drinking too much whiskey.

Of course, Koe also has some meaningful tattoos, like one of his grandfather with his precious tomato that he grew in his garden.

But he also has one that he couldn’t show off: a tattoo on his butt that reads “Amarillo By Morning.”

Honestly, I just assumed that all Texans had George Strait lyrics tattooed on them when they were born, so it’s no real surprise that Koe has one of his most popular songs tattooed on his butt… but I would really like to know the story behind why he has it on his butt.

The only thing he had to say about the ass tattoo?

“Long night.”
