Law enforcement officials release new information about Matthew Perry’s death

Several people could be charged Matthew Perry‘s death as the ongoing investigation nears completion.

Accordingly PeopleLaw enforcement authorities now believe that numerous people were involved in the death of the beloved Friends Star. The names of the suspects who “should be charged” have not yet been released by authorities, but it is known that the U.S. Attorney’s Office will decide at a later date “whether or not to file charges.”

Perry died on October 28, 2023, at his home in Los Angeles from the acute effects of ketamine. The late actor’s death was initially ruled an “accident” and the case was closed by the Los Angeles County Coroner the following month. It was not until May 2024 that the LAPD decided to reopen the case and investigate the source of the ketamine that led to Perry’s death.

The Friends, Lovers and the Great Terrible Thing: A Memoir The author was undergoing ketamine infusion therapy to relieve his symptoms of anxiety and depression at the time of his death, but (as authorities discovered months after his death) the ketamine found in his system during the autopsy was not related to the infusion therapy.

All that is currently known about the possible suspects is their reputation as “key figures in Hollywood who are known to use or abuse drugs,” according to TMZNo arrests have been made while the public awaits a decision from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
