Britney Spears’ sons are open to reconciliation with the singer

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s two sons are open to reconciliation with their mother.

Attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan, who represents the pop star’s ex-husband and his family, has confirmed that Kevin and Britney’s sons, Sean Preston (18) and Jayden James (17), spoke to their mother on the phone.

However, he denied a report claiming that they had met in person several times and were already fully reconciled.

“Reconciliation and repairing relationships is difficult and takes time. It’s sometimes complicated and always a long process. The process hasn’t really begun, let alone is it complete,” Kaplan told Entertainment Tonight.

“The good thing is that the boys have seen that their mother is doing well and have a desire to talk to her. There has been telephone communication between Britney and her sons and we think that is a step in the right direction.”

Earlier this week, MailOnline published a report claiming that Britney and her children had been meeting secretly in Hawaii and California.

The teenagers moved to Hawaii with Kevin, his wife Victoria Prince and their two children after Britney agreed to their move last year.

According to ET, the 42-year-old has not yet visited her sons in Hawaii.

Britney and Kevin were married between 2004 and 2007. The former dancer was granted sole custody of her sons in 2008, shortly before the pop star was placed under conservatorship. The legal arrangement was terminated in November 2021 after 13 years.

Their co-parenting relationship hit a rocky spot in 2022 after Kevin and Jayden spoke negatively about Britney in the press, but the new update suggests they have put that behind them.
