Pop sensation Taylor Swift is unlikely to attend an Independence Day party at her Watch Hill home this year.

Because even though it seemed like she was everywhere last year, to our knowledge the Mastermind singer has yet to be in two places at once.

On July 4th this year, Swift will perform as part of her “Eras” tour. Her first appearance will be at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, just one of three shows scheduled in Amsterdam. She will play in Dublin from June 28th to 30th and in Zurich from July 9th to 10th.

When she comes to Rhode Island this July around the Fourth of July, she has to come into one of those gaps.

The “Lover” singer-songwriter has frequently celebrated the Fourth of July with a party at her Rhode Island home. These parties usually feature well-known members of Swift’s iconic entourage, such as Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters.

Last year, Swift returned to her tradition of hosting celebrity-filled parties on Independence Day after several years of abstaining from doing so.

The party appeared to be a private affair between Swift and her friends. Gomez and the Haim sisters were in attendance, as were Nashville stylist Ashley Avignone and the singer’s brother’s rumored girlfriend, Sydney Ness.

Other photos from this year’s party showed the crew sipping drinks together, sharing a red, white and blue popsicle, and singing karaoke.

Her parties about a decade ago included her then-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston, as well as Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevingne.

She took a break from hosting from 2017 to 2022 after the parties generated so much publicity during the three years she hosted them from 2013 to 2016.

Swift bought the Watch Hill mansion, named Holiday House, in 2013. It features an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a history tied to the Standard Oil fortune. The songwriter incorporated the story of the house’s past – and that of the divorcee who lived there, Rebekah Harkness – into the song “Great American Dynasty” on her eighth studio album, Folklore.
