Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola recently travelled to Dubrovnik, Croatia for a family holiday.

The 53-year-old has travelled to at least four destinations since winning his 17th major trophy with Manchester City last month as Guardiola led the Sky Blues to a record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Manchester City secured their sixth Premier League title in seven years with a win over West Ham at the Etihad Stadium in May. The Cityzens also won the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup in the 2023/24 season.

The 2024/25 season, which begins and ends for Manchester City in west London with games against Chelsea and Fulham, could be Guardiola’s last in east Manchester after the Catalan entered the final 12 months of his current contract.

Guardiola is expected to begin his preparations for the new season next month with a pre-season tour of the United States, consisting of four friendlies against Celtic, AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea.

The Manchester City head coach has taken a break before returning to the City Football Academy in July and has visited the USA, Spain and Abu Dhabi in recent weeks.

The 53-year-old took part in a charity golf tournament in Spain, watched the NBA finals in the USA and visited the United Arab Emirates as part of a high-level delegation that met Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour.

According to the Dubrovnik Times, Guardiola is currently on holiday in Croatia with his family. The Catalan is visiting the Croatian destination for the first time in over a decade.

The 53-year-old reportedly visited the country in 2012 and also explored Lopud and Šipan.

Manchester City’s domestic season begins on 10 August 2024 with an FA Community Shield match against Manchester United at Wembley Stadium.
