Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans team up to save Santa Claus in the trailer for “Red One”

Dwayne Johnson And Chris Evans join forces for a new action-packed adventure.

On Tuesday the trailer for Red One was released, in which the two actors are on a quest to save Santa Claus.

According to a synopsis for the film, Johnson plays the North Pole’s head of security. When Santa Claus is kidnapped, Johnson’s character must “team up with the world’s most notorious bounty hunter,” played by Evans, “to save Christmas on an action-packed mission around the globe.”

The trailer shows the two stars fighting evil snowmen on a beach and watching Krampus perform his Krampusschlap.

Also in the lead role Jake Kasdan-Directed films are JK Simmons as Santa Claus, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivjyou, Nick Kroll, Wesley Kimmel And Lucy Liu.

In a clip from the trailer, Liu tells Johnson: “We have to prepare for the possibility that there will be no Christmas.”

Johnson and Evans shared the film’s trailer in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, writing in the caption, “We both LOVE Christmas and have taken Christmas myths and legends, mixed them up and turned them on their head.”

“Just like we wanted to do for each other,” they added. “Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy our new trailer for RED ONE and experience Christmas like never before.”

Red One will be in theaters just in time for the holidays on November 15th.
