The cast of Taylor Sheridan’s Lioness took a break from filming in Fort Worth to attend a Chris Stapleton concert in Arlington over the weekend.

The second season of Lioness has been filming in and around Fort Worth since last month, with stars Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman in town. The spy action thriller series was developed by Sheridan for Paramount+.

Actress LaMonica Garrett, who plays Tucker in “Lioness,” shared a snapshot on social media of the cast backstage with Stapleton before his concert in Arlington at Globe Life Field.

The photo features several fellow actors, including Saldana, Jill Wagner, Laysla De Oliveira, Jonah Wharton, Genesis Rodriguez, Thad Luckinbill and Austin Hébert.

Stapleton played over two dozen songs at the two-hour, 15-minute concert in Arlington.

The Star-Telegram reviewed Stapleton’s concert and said the “Tennessee Whiskey” singer and his band were in “perfect fighting shape.” It’s safe to say the Lioness crew enjoyed the show, too.

Rodriguez, one of the stars of the show, shared her praise on social media after the concert.

“I’m literally so obsessed with everyone in ‘Lioness,'” Rodriguez told her 841,000 followers. “Also, I’m a Chris Stapleton fan here… still think about his voice. And his sound.”

The first season of “Lioness” premiered on Paramount+ in July 2023.

A second season was ordered by the streamer earlier this year and production began in Fort Worth in May. No release date has been announced for Lioness Season 2, but whenever it does arrive, it will land on Paramount+.
