Sources: Death of teenager in NYC park ruled homicide

HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) — The death of a teenager who died days after he was found on a Manhattan park bench has been ruled a homicide, law enforcement officials said.

According to police, 16-year-old Tresaun Clements was found unconscious near the corner of West 149th Street and Bradhurst Avenue shortly before midnight on June 18. He was taken to a hospital, where he was declared brain dead two days later.


According to sources, Clements’ family plans to donate his organs.

Police sources told PIX11 News that Clements had no visible injuries. The medical examiner ruled the incident a homicide, they said.

No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
