Travis Kelce reveals the moment he fell in love with Taylor Swift

You can put those breakup rumors aside because Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are a couple. The NFL star recently shared the stage with Swift for the first time. Kelce also talked about the moment he realized he was falling in love with the pop star.

Appears on the Kissing with the boys On the podcast, Kelce spoke honestly about his relationship with Swift. He said they found a balance between public and private. “You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything,” he told co-hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan. “That’s my girl. That’s my wife. I’m proud of that.”

He continued, “I’m not sitting here trying to juggle, like, ‘How can I keep this a secret?’ You just don’t want to let everyone know about your private life and be able to comment on it when you know that everything she does makes headlines.”

Kelce explained that Swift’s confidence and self-assurance were the reason he began to fall in love with her.

“She’s very confident,” he said. “She understands these situations and I think that’s why I really fell in love with her, that’s how genuine she is with friends and family. It can get crazy for someone with so much attention and she stays so relaxed and cool and I can definitely admire that.”

Kelce described the moment Swift decided to attend one of his NFL games. He had originally planned to sneak her in secretly and without all the attention, but Swift didn’t care about the cameras. “She just walked through the front door,” he recalled. “I didn’t talk to security to make sure she got to her (seat). She just said, ‘I just want to be with my family and friends and experience this with everyone.'”

“She’s in the thick of it – she wants to be there – she wants to support me and do things like that,” he said. “She really convinced me. And I think that’s why I really fell in love with her. Just because I saw how genuine she is with friends and family.”

However, Kelce admits that all the publicity may be overwhelming. He has had to get used to a new level of fame.

“(Paparazzi) were the craziest thing. Definitely driving by the house, just randomly, I don’t know,” he said.

He continued, “It’s a different audience than the NFL, so it was cool to get a taste of that and see their following and everything. It was fun because a lot more kids are into the game and a lot of the Chiefs fans have become their fans. And their fans have become Chiefs fans, so I’ve enjoyed every aspect of it.”

“But when you’re at home, you want privacy and you don’t always get that,” he added.
