David Fincher’s new series makes up for his canceled Netflix crime drama with 97% on RT

Thought Hunter was one of Netflix’s best shows, even when the library was saturated with contentand it ran for two incredible seasons before a possible third season was left hanging. If Fincher’s Chinatown series is actually made at Netflix, then it could be a suitable replacement for Thought Hunter Season 3.

There is no need for a TV series about Jake opening his agency, just as there is no need for a TV series about Michael Corleone’s experiences in the war or a TV series about Martin Brody’s work as a police officer in New York City before he moved to Amity Island.

However, there have been many film and television projects recently that have seemed like unnecessary franchise add-ons, ultimately justifying their existence by being entertaining and substantial; it did not seem necessary to Peacemaker Series, a Andor Series, a Wonka Film or a Barbie Movie, but in the end they were all great. Furthermore, Fincher’s commitment is a reason for hope for the Chinatown series. Fincher rarely misses out, he has made some of the greatest thrillers of the last three decades, so the Chinatown The series could end up being great after all.

Could there be a third season of Mindhunter?
