Travis Kelce And Taylor Swift are definitely the celebrity couple of our time. The Kansas City Chiefs superstar and the biggest music star in the world are constantly making headlines.

Just last weekend, they caused a big stir when Kelce accompanied Taylor Swift on stage to help her with her performance, which sent the internet into a frenzy.

It seems like this couple has been ingrained in our zeitgeist for much longer than the nine months that have passed since Taylor Swift strolled into a suite at Soldier Field last September to watch Kelce and the Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears, announcing their relationship to the world. But in reality, it’s only been nine months, and we don’t know that many details about the relationship.

That is, until now. Travis Kelce spoke at length, for the first time ever, about his relationship with Taylor Swift on Barstool Sports’ “Bussin with the Boys” podcast with former NFL players Taylor Lewan and Will Compton.

Kelce opened up about why he fell in love with Taylor Swift. Listen.

Will Compton: “You had the argument that Swifties are watching the NFL now. Was that such a positive for the NFL in my opinion? Yeah. Because she has the biggest audience in the world. Yeah. And she seems like such a down-to-earth (girl). But it seems like you support each other, and she goes to the games and when you win the Super Bowl, she’s right in the back and knows that’s your moment. I don’t know, it’s little things that happen where you sit and watch it unfold. Like, yo, she seems really genuine.”

Travis Kelce: “She’s very confident. She understands these situations. And I think that’s why I really liked her, because she’s so honest when it comes to friends and family. So much attention can drive you crazy, right? And she just stays so relaxed and cool.

Kelce continued.

“The first game she came to against the Bears, I was like, ‘Hey, yeah, come on in, okay, I could probably get you everything organized.’ And she just walked in the front door. There’s no security involved, she has to make sure she comes to us. She was like, ‘I just want to be with my family and friends and experience this with everyone.’ I was like, ‘She got Buku points for that.’ I was like, ‘Damn, she’s just (expletive) she’s in the middle of the madness, man.’ She wants to be a part of it. She wants to support me and do stuff like that. I was like, ‘Man, she really sold me on that.'”

It sounds like Travis Kelce loves the fact that despite all her fame, Taylor Swift is not just about herself, but is as much of a normal human being as one can be.

Swift is nearing the end of the European leg of her record-breaking tour, and her schedule should allow her to attend most of Travis Kelce’s games again this fall as Kansas City aims for an unprecedented third straight victory.
