Jenny Slate announces her “Lifeform” book tour

Jenny Slate has had a productive year. In January last year, her film Marcel the shell with shoes was nominated for the Oscar for Best Animated Film. In February she had her second stand-up special show Experienced professional on Amazon Prime and announced the upcoming release of her sophomore memoir Life formAnd this fall she will go on tour with the book.

Life form follows Slate’s 2019 debut Little oddballswhich used the kind of unconventional reflections her fans love to explore both the grief that arose after her 2016 divorce and her approaches to friendship, feminism and finding love again. In the latest collection, she discusses her journey to and through motherhood in five stages: single, true love, pregnancy, baby and ongoing.
