Reese Witherspoon’s book club selects Utah author Ally Condie

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (GOOD THINGS UTAH) – Each month, Reese Witherspoon selects a book for Reese’s Book Club that focuses on a woman. Witherspoon’s June selection is Utah author Ally Condie’s latest novel, The Unwedding. Condie is No. 1 New York Times Bestselling author of the “Matched” trilogy, a popular young adult book series. “The Unwedding” is her debut thriller for adults.

It’s about a divorced woman who travels to an exclusive resort in Big Sur, California, around the time a wedding is taking place there. On the day of the wedding, she discovers a dead body floating in the swimming pool, and it’s none other than the groom. All of the hotel guests panic and try to leave the hotel, but a massive storm blocks the roads, leaving everyone trapped, with a murderer perhaps among them, or perhaps not.
