Lilli Kay stars with Owen Wilson in Apple Golf comedy series

EXCLUSIVE: Lilli Kay (Your Honor, Yellowstone) stars alongside Owen Wilson and Peter Dager in the 10-episode Apple TV+ comedy series, conceived, written and executive produced by Jason Keller.

In the untitled comedy, Wilson plays Pryce Cahill, a washed-up ex-pro golfer whose career ended prematurely 20 years ago. After he loses his job at an Indiana sporting goods store and his wife leaves him, Pryce sets his sights on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom, played by Dager.

Kay plays Zero, a 19-year-old Generation Z social justice warrior who accompanies Pryce Cahill (Wilson) on tour as he guides a young phenom (Dager) through the world of competitive golf.

In addition to Wilson and Dager, Kay joins the previously announced cast of Marc Maron, Mariana TreviƱo and Jamie Neumann.

The production at Apple Studios is directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Fleishman is in trouble, Little Miss Sunshine) and executive producers are Ben Silverman, Howard T. Owens and Rodney Ferrell of Propagate, Guymon Casady of Entertainment 360, Lee Eisenberg and Natalie Sandy of Piece of Work, Chris Moynihan, Keller, Wilson and Bill Callahan.

Kay most recently starred as Fia Baxter alongside Brian Cranston and Michael Stuhlbarg in the Showtime drama series Your Honor. She appears as Clara Brewer in Yellowstone, which is entering its final season. In the film world, Kay was last seen in Rustin alongside Colman Domingo, Chris Rock and Jeffrey Wright and will next be seen in an indie feature film Try your luck alongside Paul Walter Hauser. Kay is represented by Gersh, Authentic Talent & Literary Management and Bloch Law.
