Inter Medya licenses Turkish series “Love and Pride” to Romania

The project, also produced by Yeşil Yapım, is distributed internationally by Inter Medya.

Inter Medya has announced the licensing of the Turkish series Love and pride to Romania and marks another milestone in the series of recent sales agreements in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region.

The premiere for the Romanian audience is imminent. Love and pride is the first project under the co-production agreement between Inter Medya and Mega Global Entertainment (MGE).

Inter Medya is managing the international distribution of the series, a joint effort between MGE, Inter Medya and Yeşil Yapım.

Directed by Murat Şenoy, the series revolves around the Köksoylars, a once wealthy family living in an old mansion. With three daughters and dwindling fortunes, the family faces impending ruin. In their desperation, Tolga, the heir of another wealthy family, appears as a potential savior. The family considers marrying their eldest daughter Mercan to Tolga to secure their future. However, Mercan finds Tolga arrogant and resists the agreement despite mutual attraction.

Mercan’s pride and Tolga’s spoiled behavior create barriers, but middle daughter Gül passionately desires Tolga. He turns his attention to Gül and seeks marriage, but his heart remains with Mercan, who also falls in love with him. While the girls’ mother pushes for a quick marriage to avert financial ruin, the unfolding drama reveals that Tolga, too, seeks this connection for his own salvation.

Can Okan, CEO of Inter Medya, commented on the licensing of the series and highlighted the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in the CEE region through storytelling and strategic partnerships.
