Hamas weapons developer Muhammad Salah eliminated in IDF attack

A “significant” Hamas terrorist, Muhammad Salah, was hit and eliminated in an Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip, the IDF reported Monday morning.

According to the military, Salah was an employee of Hamas’ weapons production headquarters and oversaw projects and developments for the terrorist organization.

The Israeli military found that Saleh was involved in the development of “strategic weapons” and commanded squads of Hamas terrorists who worked on weapons development.

The high-ranking terrorist was reportedly eliminated by an Israeli Air Force (IAF) aircraft operating on the basis of Israeli Air Force intelligence.

Separately, Israeli forces continued their precise, intelligence-based operations in the Rafah area of the southern Gaza Strip, the military added.

During their operations, the troops reportedly discovered large quantities of weapons and disabled rocket launchers used to fire at Israeli forces in the Tel al-Sultan area.

Terrorists and tunnels destroyed in the Rafah area

The military further stated that the troops had also attacked and eliminated a number of armed terrorists and destroyed several tunnel shafts in the Rafah area.

In central Gaza, Israeli forces said they had identified several terrorists before using a drone and then eliminated the insurgents.

Meanwhile, in addition to the attacks on Saleh, the Israeli Air Force has also worked to destroy numerous targets, including terrorist groups, terrorist infrastructure and tunnel shafts in the Gaza Strip, the military added.

In the early hours of Monday, the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry reported that Hani Al-Jafrawi, head of the Gaza Strip’s rescue and emergency services, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Daraj clinic in Gaza City.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that Israeli forces’ operations in Rafah were nearing completion.
