James Blunt and Sam Ryder performed in Chris Evans’ garden at the weekend for a very good cause.

After Chris finished the last of his long-standing Food & Disco Events in 2023: A fantastic new charity event was launched on Saturday (22 June) to raise much-needed funds for UK children’s charities.

At “Gig in the Garden,” singer-songwriter James Blunt performed his classic hits for attendees, who raised a huge amount by bidding on tickets to the event.

Also performing in the sun was Eurovision star Sam Ryder, and there were entertaining and insightful talks from the likes of David Walliams, supervet Noel Fitzpatrick, talkSPORTs Alan Brazil and more.

And the fun didn’t end there, as revelers later danced until the early hours at an after-party at a second venue with top-notch DJs and even more brilliant live music.

Now a new video has been released giving a glimpse into the huge fun at the event and a taste of some of the delicious dishes from Michelin-starred chefs as well as the thirst-quenching drinks that were on offer.

In the clip, we see “You’re Beautiful” singer James Blunt working up a sweat during his performance in front of a packed tent and even doing a bit of crowd surfing at one point!

We also see Sam Ryder singing outdoors and meeting fans, and Chris chatting with other celebrities.

‘Gig in the Garden’ is the follow-up to Chris’ previous live charity event ‘Dine & Disco’ which has raised millions of pounds for charity over the years.

Dine & Disco artists of recent years have included Rod StewartElton John, Michael Bublé and more.
