Member of an Orlando biker gang murdered man after argument with rival biker club

A member of an Orlando biker gang murdered one man and injured another after indiscriminately shooting at a group outside a rival motorcycle club’s party.

An Orange County jury recently found 26-year-old Tahj Williams guilty of first-degree murder (with a firearm) and attempted first-degree murder with a firearm.

On September 11, 2021, members of the Orlando-based Chosen Few motorcycle club attempted to gain entry to a party at the Elks Lodge at 12 N. Primrose Avenue. The party, hosted by another motorcycle club, the Aftermath Riders, denied entry to the Chosen Few members.

As the group walked away, Tajh Williams fired several random shots from a pistol into the crowd at the entrance to the Elks Lodge, killing 49-year-old Rajah Graham and wounding another man in the ankle.

Detectives with the Orlando Police Department were able to track down several members of the Chosen Few by obtaining video surveillance cameras from the Elks Lodge and traffic cameras. The footage showed the group exiting the building and fleeing the area after the shooting.

Using investigative techniques, OPD investigators identified the members of the Chosen who were staying at the Elks Lodge. After contacting several members, investigators determined that Williams was responsible for the shooting. Independent witnesses also provided a description of the shooter that matched that of the defendant. Investigators obtained an arrest warrant and Williams was tracked down and arrested by OPD’s Fugitive Investigative Unit. After executing a search warrant, the murder weapon was found in two pieces in the defendant’s residence.

After a five-day trial, a jury found Williams guilty as charged. The judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation to determine an appropriate sentence. Williams’ sentencing is scheduled for July 8.
