Kevin Kelly reacts to Chris Jericho’s ‘The Learning Tree’ storyline, Mark Henry News

During a recent appearance on Eric Bischoff’s Wise Choices podcast, Kevin Kelly shared his thoughts on Chris Jericho’s latest gimmick in the form of The Learning Tree in AEW. He said:

“You can never underestimate Chris Jericho’s ability to achieve new things. It’s like he’s always looking to challenge himself and try new things. That’s where he sees himself at this point in his career, so let’s look at it from that perspective.”

He continued, “And I think that will help the audience embrace it. It’s a little bit ‘inside baseball’ and I think that might be the point that some people miss.”

At the WWE Vengeance 2011 pay-per-view event, Mark Henry and The Big Show destroyed the entire ring during their one-on-one match.

In a recent episode of the podcast “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” Henry recalled the memorable place. He said:

“I think they told me the day I came into the arena. And I was like, ‘What?’ And I thought we really have to do it. The easiest way to fold a ring – because I’ve seen rings folded before – is that underneath the rings they’re all attached to wires that are tied together to a central point in the middle and have that much support. So you just have to take the wires out.”

He continued, “But what if something happens in the middle of the game? So all of this is set up… it’s a magic trick to make all of this happen at the moment it’s supposed to happen and not before. Because then you’re putting people in danger.”
