JJ (played by Bautista) is focused on work, baking scones and trying to be a good father. Sophie (played by Coleman), on the other hand, is more focused on her school choir, which has been selected to tour Italy and perform for the Pope in Vatican City.

JJ sees this as an opportunity to bond with Sophie and volunteers to accompany the group to Italy’s most historic sites. “JJ, I’m going to have a lot of fun on this trip, and if you get in my way, consider yourself an enemy,” Sophie warns her new stepfather.

Sophie’s plans for a fun adventure are thwarted when she and JJ unwittingly become pawns in a terrorist attack that could destroy the world. “Before they see the world, they must save it,” says the trailer.
