The cast of “Blue Bloods” finishes filming the series finale

Blue blood has officially completed filming for the series finale.

The end of the police series was confirmed last year. The second part of the 14th season is scheduled to continue in October and run until the very last episode of the series airs in December.

To mark the final day of filming, Donnie Wahlberg posted a video on Instagram of his arrival on set to shoot his final scenes as Danny Reagan, along with a heartfelt message.

“Last day of the Blue blood. I am not sure I have the words to describe how I feel today, or how I have experienced the last 14 years on this special Blue blood trip, but I know how incredibly grateful I am for every moment of it,” he said.

“To the cast, crew, guest actors, every extra, every writer, producer and member of every single department – ​​thank you.

“Thank you to the people of New York, in every neighborhood and borough, for always showing us your love. Thank you to the NYPD for your support and sacrifice. I hope we have made you proud.”

Marisa Ramirez, who plays Maria Baez, also celebrated the last day of filming by sharing a photo of a handmade police badge that her daughter made and gave to her.

“Last day of the Blue blood!” she captioned the post. “I still don’t have the words to express my joy or sadness, but at least I have a homemade sticker sign from Violet to replace the one I had to return to props today.”
