During a conversation with Penn Badgley for his podcast, Podcrushedthe cadence of the singer’s voice changed drastically within seconds, quickly switching from a loose, deeper voice to a higher pitch mid-reaction. Naturally, fans were confused, speculating and joking as to why she drifted in and out of the pitch range.
However, when Grande saw the clip attracting negative attention on TikTok, she made it her mission to set the record straight.

While he works tirelessly on the upcoming film adaptation of the hit musical Evil Over the past two years – during which Grande has starred alongside Cynthia Erivo in the role of the good witch Glinda – the 30-year-old has spoken openly about how much singing puts a strain on her voice.
