From John Travolta’s dance with Princess Diana to Taylor Swift’s singing with Prince William and more

The recent encounter between Prince William and Taylor Swift in London, where the singer performed a concert of her “The Eras Tour” on Friday, made headlines all over social media. The first heir to the British throne and the singer posed backstage for a selfie with two of his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The picture was shared on Swift’s Instagram account on Saturday and has since received more than 8.8 million likes.

Like other members of his family, William has shared many candid moments with some of the world’s biggest celebrities. In fact, the prince has met Swift before. In 2013, Swift and William shared the stage with Jon Bon Jovi during a Centrepoint charity event at Kensington Palace, where the trio performed a rendition of “Livin’ on a Prayer.”
