BRUCETON MILLS, W.Va. (WBOY) — Chestnut Ridge Park and Campground’s summer concert series is in full swing with the addition of another singer-songwriter on Saturday.

The Weary Space Wonderer performed their style of Appalachian music in the park along with singer-songwriter Kevin Hamric.

On Saturday, June 29, Josh Folmsbee will perform at the park, and the summer concert series will end at the end of August. Park officials said they are working on a program to encourage people to get out and enjoy nature and what the park has to offer.

“This is the 20th year we’ve hosted the summer concert series,” said Corwin Hoban, Chestnut Ridge Park Superintendent. “This year was the biggest yet… We also have two ponds that are good for fishing, one of which has a small swimming area and a beach. Plus, people come here to just be in nature.”

Admission to the Summer Concert Series on Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m. is $5 per person, but children under six are free. For a full list of upcoming events, click here.
