After his first victory as a coach at The voiceNiall Horan is determined to continue the series.

Speaking to PEOPLE ahead of Monday’s episode of the singing competition series, Horan opened up about his feelings ahead of next week’s finale.

“I’m lucky. America hasn’t let me down yet, so all I’m going to say all night tonight is, ‘Vote, vote, vote, vote, vote,'” Horan, 30, said.

He adds: “All joking aside, competition aside, whatever, I think my three are the best at it and without wanting to be biased or anything… (they are) technically gifted, versatile, eclectic. I really don’t think they deserve to go home. So I’m going to fight. I’m going to fight tonight. And if anyone wants to challenge me, let them try.”

Niall Horan on The Voice

After the show, Team Niall spoke to PEOPLE about the turbulent season as the finale approaches.

“I’m so happy with all of my performances on the show,” says 27-year-old Iris. “And of course I really want to be in the finals, I hope America votes for me and everything. But just being here in the semifinals with so many talented people – and I love everyone’s artistry so much. To be one of them means so much to me.”

For 21-year-old Justine, it would be a “dream” to reach the final.

“I’m just so happy that I gave it my all tonight. The rest is out of my hands. So I’m praying that I can do it. I feel good about it,” she says.

Huntley, 33, knows the competition is tough this season – and he’s just proud to have been a part of it.

“I think everyone can see that this season alone is very special. I feel like you can see that not only is Team Niall a real force, but all of the other teams have all of this artistry that I think America and the world have been looking for for a long time,” he says.

“I think it’s a really simple, humbling experience, but it’s also really hard not to cheer for the person you’re supposed to be competing with,” he continues. “I think just the chance to get on that stage, we’ve all really tried hard to create moments together on the show, and it’s really cool to watch my friends go out there every Monday and Tuesday and give it their all. It’s crazy.”

On Tuesday night, four contestants will be sent home and only the top five will advance to the finale. The episode will air at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
