AK SPORTS releases debut V/A on the label Club Madhouse – News

AK SPORTS has debuted V/A on their CLUB MADHOUSE Imprint, consisting of 14 tracks dealing with the theme “New World Rave”.

The tracks on the record cover sounds of techno, trance, acid, breakbeat and hardstyle, with elements of Latin-influenced techno. The record is best described as hard, fast and energetic, with contributions from artists from all over the world, including Mija, Motez, Shake Daddy, RAVETRX and more.

Australian label head AK SPORTS has been preparing the release of their label’s second album for some time, with singles being released from the V/A every week since the announcement in April:

“This is an exploration of new world rave, bringing 90s rave to the global internet village,” AK SPORTS tells Mixmag. “I am proud to have my first V/A on CLUB MADHOUSEwhich combines various emerging, established and masked producers from the UK, so-called Australia, Mexico, Colombia, Ireland, America and Baghdad, playing hard, fast, fun and sometimes crazy music.

“With peer reviews saying ‘ridiculous – but fun and entertaining’, ‘pretty crazy collection’, ‘wild compilation’, ‘what’s going on here, I love it’, ‘Bass Face through and through’ and of course ‘downloaded for fun’ I’d say the mischief is done.”
