Despite an unexpected hospital stay, Tyla delivered a delayed but electrifying performance at the 2024 Cannes Lions Festival. She sang her hit song “Water” at the event. The South African singer, who dazzled in a chic and revealing ensemble of a cut-out bodysuit and stylish miniskirt, later shared the reason for her emergency on Instagram. “I got nail glue in my eye and had to rush to the hospital to have it removed,” she explained, adding that she also had “some sound issues.” As her performance at Spotify Beach in Cannes came to a close, Tyla thanked the audience for their patience.
