Viewers of the 1% Club discover the participation of a famous reality TV star

Viewers of The 1% Club had to do a double take tonight when it was revealed that one of the contestants was a well-known reality TV star.

What confused many, however, was that presenter Lee Mack did not use the name we all know her by during her unexpected appearance, filmed early last year before she became famous.

Yinrun Huang, one of the finalists in the civilian version of Big Brother, was among the 100 contestants in the devilishly difficult ITV quiz.

Viewers saw her tell Lee: “I’m so nervous and my hands are sticky. This is my first time on TV. I love puppies, so if I win the award, I’m going to adopt a puppy and name him Lee Mack Jr.”

As the other players applauded, Lee replied, “Why are you clapping? She named me after something that poops on the floor. I’m sure you’ll do great.”

One baffled fan said: “There’s no way that’s Yinrun from the latest season of Big Brother,” while others wondered why she was called Runrun.

Another viewer posted: “Why the hell is Yinrun in the 1% club and they call her Runrun? Am I missing something?”

However, her puzzle-solving skills were not up to the questions and she disappeared from the show early. As one fan put it: “Yinrun Huang finishes 4th on Big Brother and… 100th on 1% Club.”

The reality TV star shared with her followers today: “I’m on the 1% Club tonight! This was filmed in early 2023, which is why I had to keep my participation a secret for so long! But now it’s finally here and I can’t wait to watch it again!! (This is one of my favorite shows).”

However, Yinrun added: “PS They gave me the name ‘Runrun’ because it was easier to pronounce, but it’s still me.”
