CONFIRMED: You can book these attractions through the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass System at Disney World

The way you visit DisneyWorld has changed completely as of today. But don’t worry – we’re here to help.

If you missed it, Genius+ is no longer – from TODAY the paid Skip-the-Line service Will means Lightning Lane Multipass while Individual Lightning Lane is now called Lightning Lane Single Card! But it’s not just the name that’s changing — the new system looks very similar to FastPass+ because you can book Lightning Lane reservations BEFORE your trip even begins. We were gearing up to test the new system and were surprised when it went live on the Disney World app!

Booking in advance sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? If you are staying at a Disney World hotel, you can select your three Lightning Lanes up to seven days in advance, while everyone else can make their selections three days in advance. Once you have used up one of your selections in the park, you can make another one.

But that’s not all – you can’t just select all of the most popular rides. Disney World has divided its rides into a tiered system (yes, this is also very well known). You can only book One Lightning Lane Multi Pass for rides in the top tier and two rides in the bottom tier OR all three rides in the bottom tier. When Disney initially released the rides in these tiers, we quickly discovered that some attractions that were previously available to book through Disney Genie+ were not included.

Did you know that you used to be able to book a Lightning Lane for the popular shows in the parks, such as the Lion King Festival? The shows were not included in these early lists.

And speaking of shows, you could also book a Lightning Lane to Reserve a spot in a special area directly in front of Cinderella Castle to watch the Festival of Fantasy Parade. But it wasn’t on the first list either.

Last, Meet and Greets like the new one in EPCOT in CommuniCore Hall, Mickey and friends were not on the list.

Well, the Lightning Lane sign will surely disappear soon

But guess what? When the app updated at midnight on July 24, we were able to look at the experiences included in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and all the attractions we thought we were missing out on ARE THERE! That’s right – in addition to Disney World rides, the Lightning Lane Multi Pass lets you book:
