Strike a pose as Captain Stryker of the Flying Boxcars takes a trip to Little Jack’s Corner

July 23, 2024 – The smell of hot dogs, Cracker Jacks and Krumpe’s Do-Nuts, the crack of a wooden bat and nine men standing at attention are some of the most beautiful sights, sounds and smells of summer in Hagerstown. But what about those of us who have to go to work or have children who go to day care or camp in the summer? Well, part of that dream can be fulfilled and was fulfilled just this week at the CitiGroup Complex near the airport in Hagerstown!

Captain Stryker of the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars, the Hub City’s newest team in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, made his way down Rt-11 on Monday to play baseball with the kids at Little Jack’s Corner North! An afternoon of baseball, ball signings, hats, t-shirts and homemade sundaes with the ALPB’s newest mascot!

Jill Gaylor, owner of Little Jack’s Corner, was spotted with Captain Stryker and posed with the flyer and ballplayer as well as many of her campers.
