Chris Brown sued for million for allegedly assaulting concertgoers

Chris Brown has been sued again. The R&B singer, who has a long history of violent behavior, is being charged along with Dallas rapper Yella Beezy, Live Nation and others for allegedly attacking four men during his concert at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas last Friday, July 20.

The lawsuit, filed Monday, seeks $50 million in damages for financial loss, pain and suffering, disfigurement, mental anguish, and past, present and future medical expenses. It names Brown, Markies “Yella Beezy” Conway, British rapper Sinko Ceej, Omololu “Hood Boss” Akinlolu, Live Nation Worldwide, Inc. and Live Nation Marketing, Inc.

The gang allegedly attacked Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush and Damarcus Powell by “throwing chairs at them and repeatedly kicking, stomping and punching them.” The event was presented and promoted by Live Nation.

According to the four men, they were invited to Brown’s backstage VIP area along with about 40 women on the second night of Brown’s 11:11 tour at Dickies Arena. Brown asked the women to hand over their phones before entering the room with his entourage. The victims were about to leave after waiting for Brown for half an hour when he returned and Bush shook his hand and congratulated him on his performance. A legal document states that Bush told Brown, “Good show; it’s been a while, but I’m glad you’re OK. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you.” Brown reportedly responded, “Hey, yes it is, and I appreciate that.”

The four were about to leave when someone in Brown’s entourage shouted to Brown: “Man, don’t you remember you two had a fight?” Brown then allegedly ordered his entourage to attack them. They suffered serious injuries to their heads, necks, shoulders and backs and are still receiving medical treatment.

Fort Worth police told NBC 5 that Brown was not arrested.
