Lakeside Women’s Club hosts a Tour of Cottages

The Lakeside Women’s Club will host its 66th Annual Cottage Tour on Thursday, July 25th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This year, eight unique Lakeside Chautauqua residences are featured, including a Victorian-era guest house just steps from the lakeshore, a luxurious three-story home with a private elevator, and a recently renovated log cabin nestled in the woods.

Tickets for the tour are $15 and are available the day of the tour just outside Lakeside’s West Fifth Street and South Gates. Tickets are also available at Green Gables, home of the Lakeside Women’s Club, 161 Walnut Ave. in Lakeside.

Daily admission for Lakeside is also $15 and is collected upon entering the Lakeside gates.

Cottage Tour guests enjoy complimentary golf cart shuttle service throughout the day.

In addition to the tour, visitors are invited to stroll the waterfront path known as “Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile.” They can also visit Lakeside’s annual arts and crafts show in front of the Lakeside Hotel, have lunch at one of the many great spots in town, and browse Lakeside’s many charming shops.
