Watch a bear snack on John Legend’s Kismet dog treats (VIDEO)

Well, here’s something you don’t see every day.

A few months ago, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen appeared The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for two reasons: to show off her absolutely adorable dogs (“That was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” Fallon explained after being hugged by her giant poodle, Petey) and to talk about her latest project, Kismet, a pet food and lifestyle company that is very close to the hearts of animal lovers like Legend and Teigen.

The couple pride themselves on using the highest quality ingredients for Kismet dog food, but there may be such a thing as treats that to fresh! In a July 22 Instagram post shared by Teigen, a customer revealed that a real-life bear got into their latest Kismet delivery, and the video footage is equal parts crazy and oh-so-cute!

“Wow! Kismet has spread throughout the bear community,” Legend joked in his Instagram stories on July 23.

Why John Legend and Chrissy Teigen started a dog treat company

Legend’s family is famously large, with countless pets and children in the house at all times. When Fallon asked why they started the company in the first place, Teigen explained that it just felt right.

“We have four kids and four dogs. It was about time,” she admitted. “I’m obviously very interested in the world of food, so this is just a natural extension of that. And it’s so great. It’s really fun.”

In an interview in May 2024 with PEOPLELegend said that starting this business made sense because they were primarily pet owners long before they became parents of beautiful children.

“We’ve been pet owners for so long, and it’s such a core part of who we are, what our house is like and who we are as people, that we thought, ‘Let’s do this together,'” Legend said. “This was our first experience as co-parents. And of course, we love dogs, we love food, we love the culture and community around dogs and being pet owners. And we thought, why not? Let’s make our own dog food and create a brand that celebrates dog culture and community and connects pet owners across the country.”

That’s exactly what the duo did.

The legend returns to The voice for Season 27, and judging by a recent set photo shared by fellow returning judge Adam Levine, he’s excited to get back into the swing of things. Legend will be back in the swing of things after his elusive second Agree Title in one of the best seasons ever!
