Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club to be re-released for Fanatics Fest in New York City

Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club to be re-released for Fanatics Fest in New York City

Jay-Z’s legendary 40/40 Club will be reimagined at Fanatics Fest NYC next month.

Press releases tout that the new opening will keep in mind “the essence of the club’s signature blend of sport, luxury and entertainment” and incorporate that unique identity into an exclusive lounge experience. The space will feature everything from framed jerseys to stadium seats, not to mention a selection of small snacks and premium beverages.

Who exactly will enter the halls of the revamped 40/40 Club is expected to be by invitation only, but those who could make it include big-name athletes, celebrities and VIP customers of Fanatics Sportsbook.

Fanatics Fest NYC begins August 16th and runs through August 18th at the Javits Center. It’s a gathering of sports fans and legends of their respective disciplines, where everything is geared towards immersion. The 2024 lineup includes Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, Derek Jeter, Carmelo Anthony, Mike Tyson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Spike Lee, Allen Iverson, Sabrina Ionescu, Travis Scott and many more.

The actual 40/40 Club is set to reopen next year in a new location in the New York area. Jay, Juan Perez and Desiree Perez founded the original 40/40 in 2003. Last year, the flagship store closed.

“We are currently closed but will reopen in a new location in 2025,” reads a message on the club’s official website at the time of writing.
