Chris Pratt says his children don’t always understand his fame from “Jurassic World”

Chris Pratt may be a movie star, but to his children he is just a dad.

You might think starring in some of the biggest movie franchises of all time would be a big deal, but Chris’ kids—Jack Pratt9, Lyla Schwarzenegger-Pratt1 and newborns Eloise Schwarzenegger-Pratt– are not particularly impressed.

“I think every child makes their parents great in some way,” he told E! News. Daily Pop‘S Justin Sylvester chatting about the new film Jurassic World: Domination“I think if I’ve accomplished that in my children’s lives, hopefully it’s not because of the films I’ve made. It’s just because I’m a father, and that’s my favorite role I’ve ever played.”

Chris’ co-star Bryce Dallas Howard revealed that she was in a similar situation. According to Bryce, her children—Theodor15 and Beatrice Howard-Gabel– don’t consider her “badass in any way” even though she ran away from a T-Rex in high heels.

Fans who wanted to see Bryce’s character Claire Dearing run for her life in impractical shoes again, she told Daily Pop“You will be very disappointed if you Rule to see me in high heels because that doesn’t happen. Not once.”

Walking in high heels is a pretty challenging skill, but one that Chris did surprisingly well, according to Bryce. “He could do it,” she said. “I’ve seen him walk in high heels that were as big as his feet, and they were pretty big heels.”

Chris is definitely up to the challenge and added: “Give me a pair of pumps in 13 and I’ll prove it to you.”

Although he won’t get the chance to showcase this special talent on screen, Chris learned a fun thing on set: taming velociraptors isn’t that different from taming children.

“I use a lot of the same techniques,” Chris joked, “like physical violence and dominance – you know what I mean – intimidation.”

And although Bryce has the heels for the latest Jurassic World But that doesn’t mean their stunts were easier. Chris revealed that one of Bryce’s most dangerous stunts could have been a lot worse.

“She jumps out of an airplane,” Chris said, “and I think for a long time there was talk about maybe actually throwing her out of a real airplane.”

Fortunately, Bryce didn’t have to make the jump, although Chris joked that “it would be so good for the movie.”
