Chris Guiliano runs 100 m freestyle in 47.25 seconds, making him the third fastest American of all time

OLYMPIC SPORTS TRIALS 2024 IN THE USA

In the semifinals of the men’s 100-meter freestyle swimming at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Qualifying Competitions Chris Guiliano clocked a time of 47.25 and entered the final as the highest-placed overall winner. This makes him the third fastest American of all time in this discipline and the 13th fastest runner of all time.

Guiliano improved his best time of 47.49, set in long-distance time trials after the 2024 ACC Championships.

The best US fighters of all time, men’s 100 meter freestyle (LCM):

Compared to his previous best, Guiliano had exactly the same speed on the back half. However, he was 0.14 seconds faster on the exit, which made the difference in his improvement.

On the way to the final with Caeleb Dressel, Jack Alexand Guiliano have all qualified, the three fastest Americans in history will all be in the running to qualify for the Paris Olympic team in the 100m freestyle and the 4x100m freestyle relay.

Guiliano has already qualified for the Paris Olympics to swim 200m freestyle. On Wednesday evening he has the chance to add a second event to his program.
