Trailer for documentary film “i☆Ris Voice Actress” announces premiere on September 13th – News

The official Youtube Channel for the i☆Ris Voice Actress Idol Unit has started streaming a new trailer for the group. Live and documentary ～i☆Ris on STAGE～ Documentary on Tuesday. The trailer announces that the film will be released in Japan on September 13th.

The film celebrates the group’s 10th anniversary and follows them over a period of six months. It includes interviews with the members and a retrospective of their careers.

The anime film i☆Ris the Movie – Full Energy!!– Premiere on May 17th.

i☆Ris consists Saki Yamakita, Yu Serizawa, Himika Akaneya, Yuki WakaiAnd Miyu Kubota. All members are not only musicians, but also voice actresses for anime. Former member Hotel Asakusa left the group on March 31, 2021.

The group has composed theme songs for anime such as Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live, Mushibugyo, Fantasista Stella, Hantsu x Garbage, Twin Star Exorcists, Akiba’s Journey: The Animation, PriPara, Idol Time PriPara, Magical Girl Website, Grandson of the WiseAnd Magical Sempai.

The group previously inspired a webcomic with the provisional title Shukan (Shūkan) i☆Ris (“Weekly i☆Ris“) in 2016.
